United Way - Pancake Breakfast - Corporate

Centene is a leading organization in the St. Louis community and in all of the markets we serve across the United States. Our leadership includes how we provide help to our community through support of organizations like the United Way. There are over 170 agencies that directly benefit at a local level from donations to the United Way, including those that assist battered women, underserved children and natural disaster relief.

The United Way helps one in three people. Chances are, you know someone who has received direct help in times of need from an agency supported by the United Way.  This is a great opportunity to give back to the community that we live and work in.

Centene employees pledge to the United Way in the early fall each year during our campaign, to help those in need. Throughout the month-long campaign, special events are held to appreciate the employees who make a pledge to those in need.

In 2013, a pancake breakfast was hosted by Chairman and CEO, Michael Neidorff, to thank employees who give back to their community through the United Way. Mr. Neidorff also hosted special guest Sam Bradford, quarterback of the St. Louis Rams, as well as members of the Rams cheerleaders and Rampage, the team’s mascot.
