We believe it’s important to give back to organizations that help with the education of children and people within our community, especially in the area of educating individuals on how to get and stay healthy.
Michael Neidorff, Centene’s Chairman and CEO, believes that education is an irreplaceable cornerstone for every person. Centene is proud to align with Junior Achievement of Greater St. Louis, which provides relevant, life-long educational opportunities to over 140,000 students each year. By educating young people about work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy with hands-on, engaging programs which inspires young people to succeed in a global economy.
Centene unveiled its exhibit and a 10-year sponsorship with Junior Achievement of Greater St. Louis with a ribbon cutting ceremony. Over 80 students from Riverview Gardens School District were in attendance for the day. Centene developed a multi-media exhibit for students to learn about the various aspects of health insurance, and how to best select coverage. The exhibit features an interactive website with a health information questionnaire so students can learn how to select a health plan that best meets their financial and lifestyle needs. It also educates students about the various job opportunities within a health-related industry.
