Chief Impact Officer of Centene Corporation

Erika McConduit serves as the Chief Impact Officer of Centene Corporation. McConduit oversees Centene’s enterprise-wide approach to engage and deepen relationships with cross-sector stakeholders to drive positive business and community impact. As part of Centene’s Growth Office, McConduit leads the local community impact strategy — aligning efforts to drive growth and support business development efforts that enable Centene to deliver access to quality health care for more people in communities nationwide.

Prior to her current position McConduit served as Centene’s Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer since joining the company in 2019. She previously served as the President and CEO of the Urban League of Louisiana, where she led its expansion to a statewide entity, distinguishing it among the network of affiliates around the country. She also served as Chief Operating Officer of the YWCA of White Plains and Central Westchester, New York. Earlier in her career, McConduit was a corporate litigation attorney with Frilot, Partridge LLC, and has a media background in corporate communications with MTV Networks, Nickelodeon and VH1 in New York.

She has served as an adjunct faculty member of Dillard University in Louisiana and Monroe College in New York. Her current and past education service also includes the Louisiana Community and Technical College System Board of Supervisors, the New Orleans Advocate newspaper, New Schools for New Orleans, KIPP St Louis Board of Directors, the Data Quality Campaign in Washington, D.C., and the Pahara-Aspen Institute fellowship, among others. McConduit graduated summa cum laude from Howard University with a Bachelor of Arts in communications, and cum laude from Loyola University School of Law in New Orleans, Louisiana, with a Juris Doctorate.
