Carolina Complete Health
Carolina Complete Health is the only provider-led Medicaid managed care health plan in North Carolina, serving over 750,000 members statewide. We also support over 240,000 Tailored Plan Medicaid members with complex mental health needs, severe substance abuse needs, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. The health plan was established as a unique joint venture between Centene Corporation and the North Carolina Medical Society in conjunction with the North Carolina Community Health Center Association (FQHCs). Local physicians and other providers helped design the plan and have determined medical policies that impact members through a provider-led governance model. We are committed to addressing social drivers of health represented through our collaborative approach to care management and unique value-added services that support education, food insecurity, prenatal care, and youth development.

Wellcare
In North Carolina, Wellcare covers over 12,000 members with Medicare products, including Medicare Advantage Prescription Drug plans, Medicare Advantage only plans, Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans, and standalone Prescription Drug Plans. Our Medicare Advantage plans offer affordable coverage beyond Original Medicare, including a range of benefits such as dental, hearing, and vision services; transportation and fitness services; Spendables® Cards; and other wellness programs to help our members live better, healthier lives. Wellcare's standalone Prescription Drug Plans help cover the cost of prescription drugs including low monthly premiums and copays; access to a broad pharmacy network; and convenient delivery of medications. Not all benefits are available in all plans.

Ambetter of North Carolina
Ambetter of North Carolina Inc. covers over 190,000 Marketplace members across North Carolina, providing low cost and/or subsidized health insurance. Through Ambetter, members get access to essential healthcare benefits delivered through a large network of doctors and hospitals. Our approach is based on the core belief that quality healthcare is best delivered locally, as reflected by our partnership with Atrium Health in the Charlotte and Triad regions of the state. We are also focused developing community partnerships as represented by our collaboration with the YMCA to offer members a free, full membership, including access to YMCA360 virtual programming.
