Across the enterprise, Centene employees embrace the value of collective action and the importance of active local involvement. It’s how we support the communities that have welcomed us as a neighbor.
Lending a Helping Hand
Through our Employee Community Engagement Program, Centene employees are invited to provide timely and impactful support to nonprofit community partners who have established relationships with Centene Corporation, the Centene Foundation, a Centene health plan, or a Centene subsidiary. Centene is a proven partner that communities can count on.
For seven years, the St. Louis Area Diaper Bank has helped low-income families access an adequate supply of diapers by raising awareness about the causes and consequences of diaper need in the St. Louis region. With diapers and financial donations collected from the community, the Diaper Bank partners with existing service organizations to serve families. Centene employees are reaching out to help, investing their time and donations to help keep St. Louis babies clean, dry, healthy, and happy.
Recognizing the urgent need for healthcare workers, Centene created a Medical Reserve Leave policy to empower employees with clinical experience to serve in their communities. Learn about the experiences from our team members on the front lines.
